Vacation Hangover!

I believe I now need a vacation from my vacation! I Just returned last Friday from 10 days at Disney World in Orlando Florida. The first 5 action-packed days were spent working at our Cultural Care Au Pair National Meeting. It was so great to see all my work friends and learn some great tips on social media!

The last 5 glorious days of the trip were spent with my 4 wonderful boys - hubby and 3 kids ages 9, 7, and 7. We did the "Kamikaze Kauffman Family" version of Walt Disney World! Our motto -- leave no thrill ride unexplored! We rode all the "mountains" including Everest, Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, and Big Thunder Mountain. Other favorites were Test Track, Soarin, Tower of Terror and Toy Story Mania.

The kids were the perfect ages as they were big enough to ride all the rides and were not too scared to have to skip any rides. Admittedly, Mom was a little shocked by this as I had honestly hoped that their fears would be my "out" on some of the more treacherous rides. I did opt for the 'less intense" version of Mission Space at Epcot which I am thinking was a smart move. They even had barf bags on the less intense version of this ride so that tells you something right there!

All in all, it was a wonderful family vacation and gave us all some time to re-connect as a family and spend some "magical" time together at the "happiest place on earth"!
